About the Journal
The Journal of Machine Intelligence for Sustainable Industry Practices (JMISIP) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing original research at the intersection of machine learning, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and management. The journal was founded in 2026 with a clear and deliberate mission: to close the long-standing gap between academic research and real-world industry application, ensuring that published work translates into measurable, verifiable impact for enterprises, industries, and communities — not just theoretical contribution.
Why This Journal Exists
A persistent criticism of academic publishing — echoed by researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders alike — is that a large proportion of published research, including work in highly ranked journals, is rarely implemented or tested in real organizational settings. JMISIP was established specifically to address this gap. Rather than treating "practical relevance" as an aspirational value statement, the journal structurally prioritizes applied, outcome-based research, particularly welcoming submissions that report findings from real implementations, including honest accounts of partial success, mixed results, or implementation challenges.

JMISIP publishes original research articles, applied research and case studies, systematic reviews, and short communications across a broad but focused range of topics, including:

JMISIP is a newly established journal, launched in 2026. We are transparent about this: the journal is currently building its editorial board, submission volume, and formal indexing status (including ISSN registration and applications to indexing bodies such as DOAJ). We believe transparency about a journal's stage of development is itself part of responsible, ethical publishing, and we are committed to communicating our progress honestly as the journal grows.
